Deserving Rides began with a simple but powerful idea: that reliable transportation can change lives.
In 2014, what started as a quiet act of kindness—giving away a single, refurbished vehicle to a local family in need—sparked something bigger. Year after year, car after car, we saw firsthand how mobility opens doors to opportunity, employment, stability, and hope.
Today, Deserving Rides is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Walworth County, Wisconsin. We’ve grown from one giveaway to dozens of vehicle donations, each one carefully restored by the team at Advanced Auto Clinic and generously supported by our local community and business partners.
We don’t just fix cars—we help restore independence, dignity, and peace of mind. We serve hardworking individuals and families who are trying to move forward but are held back by transportation insecurity. Every vehicle we donate is road-ready, safe, and full of purpose.

As we’ve grown, so has our mission. Today, Deserving Rides supports more than just transportation. We’re committed to helping people across our community through a variety of outreach initiatives, including:
Back-to-school supply drives to equip students with the tools they need to succeed
Collaborations with nonprofits like the WI Lions Camp, providing life-changing summer experiences for youth with disabilities
These causes matter to us because our community matters. Whether we’re giving someone the keys to a second chance or showing up with backpacks full of supplies, we believe that small acts of generosity can lead to lasting change.
